Directions

Gently wash the entire inside length of your tube keeping it as straight as possible. First work the 7-foot brush back-and-forth with mild detergent or CPAP Pre-Wash Solution in warm running water. Thoroughly rinse the tube in cold running water and let the tube air-dry hanging vertically. Use the handy brush to clean the CPAP Mask opening where the tube is inserted. Thoroughly rinse in cold running

Before using this tube cleaning brush, all I could do was run soapy water through the tube and I didn't feel like this would sufficiently clean it. Now, I get some soapy water in the tube then take the cleaning brush and run it through two times. I rinse it thoroughly after cleaning. The only downside to this is that my arms are not long enough to do it without help. The directions say to keep it straight while running the brush through but that is impossible to do by myself. I feel more confident using my CPAP machine knowing that the accessories have been cleaned efficiently.

The Cpap brush kit is extremely durable. I've used this several times now, and have not lost any bristles, nor seen any rust/ corrosion. While the flexible shaft is long enough to fully extend through my cpap hose, it can get a little difficult in the last 1/3 of the hose. I would not recommend pulling the cleaner through the hose. The hose has a tendency to bunch up, due to the friction. But if you push the cleaner through the hose, you will have better success. Overall, I'll say this is a good product. I also use this in conjunction with a UV sterilizer, and have no issues with cleanliness.

Brush end is a little tight for my tubing, but if you put the loop end through, feed a disposable CPAP cleaning wipe through the loop, and pull it through the tube, it works great.
